A design people like is nice. But on its own it means nothing. A website has one job — to guide the visitor to an action: an enquiry, a booking, a purchase. Everything else serves that.
A conversion website starts with content and structure, not colours. Who is the visitor, what’s their problem, what objection do they have, and what’s the next logical step — only once that’s clear does the visual make sense.
Technically, a few simple things decide it: load speed, mobile readability, clear CTAs and zero friction on the path to conversion. A modern stack (Astro, React, Vercel) handles this without compromise.
A good website is judged by numbers, not compliments. That’s why it can be measured, tested and improved over time — and that’s exactly how I approach it.
